- Teddington PTA
The PTA’s Mission Statement is to advance the education of pupils in the school by developing effective relationships between the staff, parents and others associated with the school and engaging in activities or providing facilities or equipment that support the school.
What do we fund raise for?
This year we are focused on supporting the academic curriculum. There are a lot of subjects to cover, so to enable equitable provision we are introducing a three-year cycle to cover all of the school subjects.
This year we are starting the cycle with Science, Technology, Engineering & Mathematics (STEM) and Art. At the end of this academic year will outline the other two years covering languages, humanities, and physical education. Support facilities like the library, and inclusion will also be covered. Any afterschool support will be covered through the relevant subject.
The PTA supports the annual school production through ticket sales and bar. The surplus funds over the duration of the school production costs are directly donated to school to fund the school production and contributes to the Performing Arts and Music departments.
How do we raise funds?
The PTA raises funds through our regular events or online cashback apps: Turn your everyday online shopping into FREE donations by signing up to easyfundraising

School coordinates an Amazon Wishlist that relates to the chosen subject areas.
If you would like to donate to the school via the PTA, please contact [donation@teddingtonschool.org.sch]. If you are a taxpayer and would like to donate by gift aid, we will require you to complete a tax gift aid declaration for our HMRC gift aid return and claim.
Communications
To keep up to date on all our latest news and events, make sure to sign up to ClassList. Here you will find details of upcoming events and be able to join groups with other parents in your child’s class and year groups. Due data protection rules Teddington School will not distribute any names and email addresses to the PTA, you will need to sign up with the above link.
Preloved Uniform & Study aids
We are always grateful for donations of uniform and study aids, especially sports kits, ties and blazers. Please just bring them into school and leave at reception. All donations will get to us.
Preloved uniform is available to purchase through the PTA. At most events throughout the year, we have uniform available. Our Annual preloved uniform sale is at the end of the academic year and coincides with the Y6 transition day. When uniform is available, it will be highlighted either through Classlist or the weekly newsletter.
PTA Meetings & Volunteers
The PTA is a registered charity (295617) and is managed by a committee that is elected each year at its Annual General Meeting. PTA meetings are held every half term. Agendas and minutes are circulated via ClassList and meeting are open to all parents. For further details please email our Chair, Verity Royle
We always need willing volunteers to make events as successful as possible. If you are willing to help out at any event or have any other ideas then please email the PTA. We never take anyone's participation for granted. Every little bit helps us all and ensures that we can continue funding projects to benefit all of our children. If you have any other questions please email the PTA.
