Student Reports
At Teddington School, we prioritise keeping families informed about students' progress at appropriate stages throughout the academic year. Our comprehensive reports provide easily interpretable data for every subject, offering valuable insights into your child's educational journey.
Teachers will regularly assess student work and keep up to date records of progress and attainment. A student’s acquisition of knowledge and skills will be based upon published assessment tasks which reflect the skills and concepts developed throughout the year. Formal assessments at Key Stage 3 will be marked with a Working At Grade (WAT grade).
At Key Stage 4 (GCSE) & Key Stage 5 (A Levels) acquisition of skills and knowledge will be marked with a GCSE grade (9-1) or A Level grade (A*-U). Students are expected to act upon the feedback and next steps given in each subject. Students will find details on how to improve in their exercise books and through FAR: feedback from the teacher, an action for the student to complete, and a response to the action from the student.
