- Academic Monitoring
The working relationship between students, families and teachers is vital in ensuring continued success for students at A Level. The academic expectation at post 16 is far greater than and GCSE and its vitally important that students are well supported, families are provided with meaningful information and as a collective we all work to support academic sucess.
Student Reports
At Teddington Sixth Form, we inform families about students' progress at appropriate stages through the year. Our reports contain easy to interpret data for every A Level subject:
- Target – subject specific target for the end of the course
- Current Level - current attainment based on evidence gathered over a period of time
- Attitude to Learning – graded as 1 (Outstanding), 2 (Good), 3 (Requires Improvement) or 4 (Inadequate)
Subject Consultation Evenings
Our subject consultation evenings are held virtually and following a formal mock and reporting period. This allows each teacher the perfect oppourtunity to provide deatailed feedback and facilitate bespoke support for individuals. Further information on parents evenings can be found here: Parents Evenings - Teddington School
Communication with Staff
There is an opportunity to discuss your child’s progress in more detail with relevant members of staff by contacting the sixth form - we are always open to these conversations and families are not expected to wait until subject consultation evenings to have these important discussions. Please contact our Head of Year 12 & 13, Mr P Garrett in the first instance: garrettp@teddingtonschool.org
